Alanna B.

Alanna's passion for movement was sparked at a young age through her involvement in dance and theatre throughout her youth. Following that curiosity for movement, Alanna went on to obtain her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Rutgers University. At Rutgers she held leadership positions in the department's club and became a teacher’s assistant, all while working in Physical Therapy settings and teaching dance classes. After obtaining her BS, Alanna was eager to begin working with people and chose to make a positive impact through Personal Training and Nutrition coaching. She has been coaching at commercial gyms and independently in Manhattan and New Jersey for over four years. She is ruthlessly eager to learn more and seek challenges as a coach, but she has also enjoyed mentoring new trainers through educational workshops and personal support. When coaching, her program design is often influenced by the principles she has learned from the Functional Movement Systems (FMS), Kettle Bell Concepts (RKS) and the Postural Restoration Institute (PRI).
