Mary G.

Mary is an instructor, physical activity researcher and doctoral student in Applied Physiology at Columbia University.  She has a broad range of expertise in the field of exercise science, with specialties in muscular fitness, body composition and cardiopulmonary exercise testing in both the clinical and commercial settings.  In addition to personal training, Mary has also worked as a freelance fitness writer and her work can be found in several publications, including Trail Runner Mobile Life Magazine and Max Sports and Fitness.  But it is working as an instructor at Columbia for the past two years that made Mary want to get more involved in mentoring aspiring professionals, and she is excited to be a part of the team at Focus Personal Training Institute.
